My Grandad found this photo below from 1999. It’s of me and some mates prior to our school prom (I’m the tall, skinny one in the white tux). It was taken by uncle, seemingly without a flash, in low light conditions.

I’ve scanned it in and made an attempt at cleaning it up, as you can see below:

Obviously, it’s not the best bit of touching-up in the world (we can ignore the fact therewas dust which I forgot to remove on the scanner), but it certainly looks at least a little bit cleaner.

It’s been done in Photoshop just using the noise distortion tool and playing around with the curves, brightness and contrast. If anyone knows how to get a better result, please let me know.
